ASUP Strike Call- Not Called Off Yet

Polytechnics (ASUP) has no plan to call off the strike or suspend it yet. Many polytechnic students have been asking us questions since ASUU Strike was called offasking when ASUP will call off too. In another development, LASPOTECH chapter of the Academic State Union of Polytechnics (ASUP) had suspended its strike which started a month ago. They spoke with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos as they began to trickle into classes after the local ASUP chapter decided to return to classes. The local chapter had taken the action in spite of the continuation of the strike by the national body which started on April 29. There are indications that more Polytechnic may pull out of the strike too very soon.
